I'm often asked why I like to write. Who doesn't enjoy making up spooky stories?
I started writing when I was a little older. I studied the craft of creating suspense, watching clips from R. L. Stine and Alfred Hitchcock movies. They were the ones to learn from!
I have a three-book deal with my publisher Neem Tree Press which I'm so excited about! Scareground is my spooky middle-grade debut. News about the other two will be out this year!
I'm currently writing my sixth book for the Oxford Reading Tree programme. These are a diverse collection of spooky, adventure, comedy and climate change stories. I've also written a very special book for the Marija Kotri Foundation. The project is very dear to me and promotes creative arts in Montenegro and teaches children the importance of railway safety. I also wrote a book which became a theme park!
I live in Oxford with my family (by the river) and quite a few geese. I'm also a school librarian and a creative writing tutor for children. I currently tutor children in the States, Australia and the UK.
