I'm often asked why I like to write. Who doesn't enjoy making up spooky stories?

I started writing when I was a little older. I worked hard - writing and improving as much as I could. Eventually, I signed up for a writing course with the Writer's Bureau. It was the best thing I ever did. I studied the craft of creating suspense, watching clips from R. L. Stine and Alfred Hitchcock movies. They were the masters of suspense!
I have a three-book deal with my publisher, Neem Tree Press which I'm so excited about! Scareground is my spooky middle-grade debut. News about the other two will be out next year!
I've also written several books for the Oxford Reading Tree programme. These are a diverse collection of spooky, adventure, comedy and climate change stories. These will be out in 2024/2025. I've also written a very special book for the Marija Kotri Foundation. The project is very dear to me and promotes creative arts in Montenegro and railway safety.

I live in Oxford with my family (by the river) and quite a few geese. I'm also a school librarian and a creative writing tutor for children. I currently tutor children in the States, Australia and the UK.
